Kanakadhara means “stream” (dhārā) of “gold” (kanaka). Kanakadhara Stotram is a hymn (stotra) composed in Sanskrit by the legendary hindu saint and philosopher Sri Adi Sankaracharya. It consists of 21 stanzas praising goddess Lakshmi. Only Goddess Lakshmi can change one’s destiny or fortunes. vandē vandāru mandāramindirānanda kandalaṃ
amandānanda sandōha bandhuraṃ sindhurānanam
aṅgaṃ harēḥ pulakabhūṣaṇamāśrayantī
bhṛṅgāṅganēva mukuḻābharaṇaṃ tamālam ।
aṅgīkṛtākhila vibhūtirapāṅgalīlā
māṅgalyadāstu mama maṅgaḻadēvatāyāḥ ॥ 1 ॥
mugdhā muhurvidadhatī vadanē murārēḥ
prēmatrapāpraṇihitāni gatāgatāni ।
mālādṛśōrmadhukarīva mahōtpalē yā
sā mē śriyaṃ diśatu sāgara sambhavā yāḥ ॥ 2 ॥
āmīlitākṣamadhigyama mudā mukundam
ānandakandamanimēṣamanaṅga tantram ।
ākēkarasthitakanīnikapakṣmanētraṃ
bhūtyai bhavanmama bhujaṅga śayāṅganā yāḥ ॥ 3 ॥
bāhvantarē madhujitaḥ śritakaustubhē yā
hārāvaḻīva harinīlamayī vibhāti ।
kāmapradā bhagavatō'pi kaṭākṣamālā
kaḻyāṇamāvahatu mē kamalālayā yāḥ ॥ 4 ॥
kālāmbudāḻi lalitōrasi kaiṭabhārēḥ
dhārādharē sphurati yā taṭidaṅganēva ।
mātussamastajagatāṃ mahanīyamūrtiḥ
bhadrāṇi mē diśatu bhārgavanandanā yāḥ ॥ 5 ॥
prāptaṃ padaṃ prathamataḥ khalu yatprabhāvāt
māṅgalyabhāji madhumāthini manmathēna ।
mayyāpatēttadiha mantharamīkṣaṇārthaṃ
mandālasaṃ cha makarālaya kanyakā yāḥ ॥ 6 ॥
viśvāmarēndra pada vibhrama dānadakṣam
ānandahēturadhikaṃ muravidviṣō'pi ।
īṣanniṣīdatu mayi kṣaṇamīkṣaṇārthaṃ
indīvarōdara sahōdaramindirā yāḥ ॥ 7 ॥
iṣṭā viśiṣṭamatayōpi yayā dayārdra
dṛṣṭyā triviṣṭapapadaṃ sulabhaṃ labhantē ।
dṛṣṭiḥ prahṛṣṭa kamalōdara dīptiriṣṭāṃ
puṣṭiṃ kṛṣīṣṭa mama puṣkara viṣṭarā yāḥ ॥ 8 ॥
dadyāddayānu pavanō draviṇāmbudhārāṃ
asminnakiñchana vihaṅga śiśau viṣaṇṇē ।
duṣkarmagharmamapanīya chirāya dūraṃ
nārāyaṇa praṇayinī nayanāmbuvāhaḥ ॥ 9 ॥
gīrdēvatēti garuḍadhvaja sundarīti
śākambarīti śaśiśēkhara vallabhēti ।
sṛṣṭi sthiti praḻaya kēḻiṣu saṃsthitāyai
tasyai namastribhuvanaika gurōstaruṇyai ॥ 10 ॥
śrutyai namō'stu śubhakarma phalaprasūtyai
ratyai namō'stu ramaṇīya guṇārṇavāyai ।
śaktyai namō'stu śatapatra nikētanāyai
puṣṭyai namō'stu puruṣōttama vallabhāyai ॥ 11 ॥
namō'stu nāḻīka nibhānanāyai
namō'stu dugdhōdadhi janmabhūmyai ।
namō'stu sōmāmṛta sōdarāyai
namō'stu nārāyaṇa vallabhāyai ॥ 12 ॥
namō'stu hēmāmbuja pīṭhikāyai
namō'stu bhūmaṇḍala nāyikāyai ।
namō'stu dēvādi dayāparāyai
namō'stu śārṅgāyudha vallabhāyai ॥ 13 ॥
namō'stu dēvyai bhṛgunandanāyai
namō'stu viṣṇōrurasi sthitāyai ।
namō'stu lakṣmyai kamalālayāyai
namō'stu dāmōdara vallabhāyai ॥ 14 ॥
namō'stu kāntyai kamalēkṣaṇāyai
namō'stu bhūtyai bhuvanaprasūtyai ।
namō'stu dēvādibhirarchitāyai
namō'stu nandātmaja vallabhāyai ॥ 15 ॥
sampatkarāṇi sakalēndriya nandanāni
sāmrājya dānavibhavāni sarōruhākṣi ।
tvadvandanāni duritā haraṇōdyatāni
māmēva mātaraniśaṃ kalayantu mānyē ॥ 16 ॥
yatkaṭākṣa samupāsanā vidhiḥ
sēvakasya sakalārtha sampadaḥ ।
santanōti vachanāṅga mānasaiḥ
tvāṃ murārihṛdayēśvarīṃ bhajē ॥ 17 ॥
sarasijanilayē sarōjahastē
dhavaḻatamāṃśuka gandhamālyaśōbhē ।
bhagavati harivallabhē manōjñē
tribhuvanabhūtikarī prasīdamahyam ॥ 18 ॥
digghastibhiḥ kanaka kumbhamukhāvasṛṣṭa
svarvāhinī vimalachārujalāplutāṅgīm ।
prātarnamāmi jagatāṃ jananīmaśēṣa
lōkadhinātha gṛhiṇīmamṛtābdhiputrīm ॥ 19 ॥
kamalē kamalākṣa vallabhē tvaṃ
karuṇāpūra taraṅgitairapāṅgaiḥ ।
avalōkaya māmakiñchanānāṃ
prathamaṃ pātramakṛtimaṃ dayāyāḥ ॥ 20 ॥
dēvi prasīda jagadīśvari lōkamātaḥ
kaḻyāṇagātri kamalēkṣaṇa jīvanāthē ।
dāridryabhītihṛdayaṃ śaraṇāgataṃ māṃ
ālōkaya pratidinaṃ sadayairapāṅgaiḥ ॥ 21 ॥
stuvanti yē stutibhiramībhiranvahaṃ
trayīmayīṃ tribhuvanamātaraṃ ramām ।
guṇādhikā gurutura bhāgya bhāginaḥ
bhavanti tē bhuvi budha bhāvitāśayāḥ ॥ 22 ॥
suvarṇadhārā stōtraṃ yachChaṅkarāchārya nirmitaṃ
trisandhyaṃ yaḥ paṭhēnnityaṃ sa kubērasamō bhavēt ॥
